Tips to avoid unwanted shadows
Tips to Avoid unwanted shadows
Placing the light fixture too close to the skirting can cause unwanted line shadows due to the beam being partially obstructed.
Recommended: Install the luminaire slightly as far away from the skirting or at the same level as the skirting to ensure a smooth and even light distribution without shadow lines.
This positioning allows the light to spread cleanly and enhances the visual effect of indirect lighting, especially in ceiling coves.
Guidance to make light box
Point 1:
Using white finishes (e.g., paint) inside the installation space enhances light reflection, resulting in brighter and more uniform illumination.
Point 2:
Ensure the spacing between luminaires is shorter than the installation height to avoid uneven lighting and dark spots.
Point 3:
Include ventilation openings to allow heat dissipation. It’s recommended to position these openings at the side top of the enclosure, where heat naturally rises.

Cuttable fixure at site
SHN FLEX Indoor is customizable and can be cut on-site at 50mm intervals for 7mm pitch and 125mm for 18mm pitch, allowing for precise adjustments to meet specific project requirements.
In the event of a failure in a luminaire with a dual-side feed cable, the left and right sides can function independently. This allows the luminaire to operate as if it were a single-side feed, ensuring continued functionality and minimizing disruption. -
